Legal Secretary Incorporated
Through these programs, our goal is to help our members keep pace with the demands of work in the legal profession and prepare them for the technological advancements and workforce adjustments that are changing the face of the legal industry. Thank you for your interest in the San Diego Legal Secretaries Association, better known as SDLSA®! This year, SDLSA® celebrates its 91st anniversary by supporting San Diego`s top legal secretaries and lawyers. Founded in 1931, SDLSA ® is a member association of Legal Professionals, Incorporated. We work with local courts, lawyers, local and national legal associations, and other leaders in the legal community to provide quality educational programs and mentorship to our members. SFLPA offers a variety of education and training programs. Career opportunities; networking with other legal practitioners; Credit MCLE and CLS; special guest speaker presentations by local state and federal judges; show trials; private tours of San Francisco courthouses; fundraising events supported by local law firms; and participation in San Francisco Bay Area charity events such as Aids Walk, Dress for Success and Foster Kids Drive. The San Francisco Legal Professionals Association (SFLPA) is a non-profit organization that strives to provide education and training opportunities to legal secretaries, paralegals, office workers, and other legal advisors who work or live in San Francisco. SFLPA runs a variety of training programs and live presentations to improve the quality of legal support across the legal industry, including a legal secretary course for beginners and advanced learners. Law firms that support the buy-in and involvement of their support staff benefit from a better knowledge of ongoing litigation and a better understanding of specific practice areas by each participating employee who contributes to the success of their firm. Please check our calendar of events to find out what SDLSA is planning for the near future.
