Capital Area Legal Service

Southeast Louisiana Legal Services (SLLS) is a non-profit law firm that provides legal representation, advocacy and education to low-income individuals. All services are free of charge. When viewing an ad, consider the state advertising restrictions that lawyers and law firms must adhere to, as well as our legal directory disclaimer FindLaw.com. Some lawyers publish comparative information about the services they provide, which may be subject to specific restrictions on comparative communication. SLLS serves the residents of 22 parishes in southeastern Louisiana. Our income policies vary. You may be eligible if your family income is less than 200% of the poverty guidelines. Income guidelines may be higher for seniors aged 60 and over. SLLS does not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or age in the provision of services or in its employment practices.
