What do you say to a mother whose child has been beaten to death, what comfort can you bring her? You are obliged as a man first faces people. People should have the right to feel safe. Wild animals are so wild. I know that incidents can happen to any animal, but I am convinced that you can get rid of a dog, but if a cougar attacks you, what can you do? If people want to own these animals, move somewhere where these animals are, like Africa, Australia and move to Colorado or California where mountain lions roam freely and run to find and catch one, now it`s probably going to end with your death and then what.
People need to find other things to do with the times. Invest in your community, organize programs for youth, feed the homeless, house mobile veterinarians. I have 4 kids and it scares me to think that they may be on the way home and be attacked by a wild animal (not a pet) than a person who thought it would make a great pet.
